One day, after a long date with skis, poles, and my friend the snow, I decided to drive around. I drove around until I came upon Carter Park, Breckenridge, Colorado. That was an unforgettable moment—one of many that tend to hatch in this beautiful state. But this one left its mark on me, for I proposed to my first sweetheart there (whom I met on a ski lift at the base of peak 8). Now happily married but still a ski bum at heart, we return often to the park to commemorate our love.
With its breathtaking panoramic view of the snow-capped mountain peaks, and with the pavilion in the center of it, Carter Park, Breckenridge, Colorado is the perfect place for building memories of family gatherings, parties, company picnics, or just long romantic walks.
If you plan book an event with friends or family, the pavilion offers a large patio on the southwest end of the park with picturesque views of Ten Mile Mountain Range, natural gas grills for barbequing, picnic tables, and an indoor heated gathering area with a burning gas fireplace.
Carter Park, Breckenridge, Colorado also boasts four tennis courts, two of which are lighted, and a kid's recreational area including a playground, a baseball diamond, a soccer and rugby field, sand volleyball, and more.
